Messy Church at St Leonard’s Our next Messy Church at St Leonard’s will be on Sunday 27 Mayl 2012 from 4.00pm to 6.00pm at St Leonard's Community Centre. The theme will be 'Joseph and his coat of many coloursl''. Messy Church is church with a difference ... in fact, lots of differences. It’s for all ages, but especially for families with young children. We have arts and crafts to start with – a chance for everyone to have fun and be creative, with a toy area for the little ones. Then we have a short celebration service with singing and a story. And last - but definitely not least - we serve up a hot meal to enjoy together. Here's what people have said about Messy Church at St Leonard's: "This is a really lovely family afternoon. Fab food". "Absolutely fabulous". "Lovely creative ideas". "Kind and welcoming people". Everyone is welcome at Messy Church (though please note children must be accompanied by an adult). See you there!
Here are some pictures of our first Messy Church, held on Sunday 27 November 2011.
