There are currently about fifty members of the congregation who have been elected as sidespeople. The sidespeople work in conjunction with th Welcomers at 10.00 am so that a team of five is always on duty at that time. Sidespeople are on duty at all the Sunday services to welcome worshippers, supply service books and notice sheets, take up the collection as part of the offertory and tidy up the church and porch after the service. They  act, as requested, by the churchwardens who are responsible for their overall organisation.
